Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
I have a 1 year old!!! ONE YEAR OLD. Seriously? Is this really happening?! At this very moment a year ago I was in the beginning stages of labor, pacing back and forth in my room with contractions that were getting stronger by the hour. I had no idea we were hours away from welcoming the greatest blessing into our lives. All 8lbs. 7oz. of him. And he's continued to be the greatest thing that's ever happened to us. Challenging, tough, exhausting, unpredictable yes. But one laugh, one smile, one "dada" or "mama" and all those feelings seem to disappear in the blink of an eye.
Oaklen, you simply amaze me, baby boy. Watching you jump from one milestone to the other was amazing. You grew from a newborn to a toddler right before my eyes. I learned so much this past year. You taught me so many valuable lessons. You've made me become a much better person, and I'm so thankful that I was given this opportunity to do so. Your Dad and I love you more than you know. We are having such a fun time watching you grow into a little boy.

19 days until Gavin's big day and I just can't believe how fast a year flew by. It's true what they say, once your a mom, time flies right on by! You have a cute little man on your hands! I can't wait to see all he accomplishes in his next year of life! :)
